    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Wessam is a wonderful instructor to take this course with. He's incredibly patient and really wants to see his students succeed. He understands the difficulty of the language and does everything he can to make the class less stressful. Although the hardest course of my semester, I don't regret taking it. It challenged me and I learned so much.

    Course highlights:

We had one class completely dedicated to learning about the cultural in Arabic speaking countries. Students who were studying abroad came in and brought snacks and examples of customs. I was so eye-opening and an awesome experience to hear about what life is like in another part of the world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to work. This is not a course you want to blow off. Like any second language, it's crucial to dedicate time and energy into practicing what you learn outside of class. You'll save yourself a lot of pain by taking time every day to study and practice.
