Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The instructor I had was great! He was an older gentleman who truly cared about making sure that each of the students fully understood what he was teaching. I had a medical issue arise halfway through the semester and he was very understanding and compassionate if I needed a couple extra days to complete a paper.

    Course highlights:

This class was an hour lecture 3 times a week and a 3 hour lab one day a week (if I remember correctly), and during the lab, one of our projects was to complete a timeline of the Earth. The paper we had for these timelines spanned about 3 lab tables put together long ways. I know it seems like a lot of work, but as a visual learner, I really benefited from this visualization of the timeline of Earth!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend every lecture and lab! I missed a lab one week and was extremely behind for a couple weeks afterwards! Attendance, and TAKE NOTES!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

From start to finish, the professor exuded energy and passion within the course to get us motivated in learning about things in the world we may not know about. There were a lot of discussions as well as power points involved during our lectures. Majority of the learning came from self-studying or with group study sessions after the hour-half course. This professor loves participation and offers opportunity for extra credit.

    Course highlights:

The biggest highlights of this course for were the visual and video representations in regards to the lessons. I've learned so much about the problems we face with Earth as well as many solutions we could make individually. The "ecological" footprint in our world is massive and if we all work together it can become better!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The biggest advice I would give is to be in attendance for every course because it would benefit you in the long run with your relationship with your professor as well.
