Course Overview:
I would definitely recommend this course for any and everybody studying engineering in college. This course provides students with the tools to become a successful engineer.
Course highlights:
This course provides you with the knowledge to understand and calculate rates of change over a period of time, derivatives, anti-derivatives and finding areas underneath curves. This is a great course for the math lovers. Course actually helps student to prove approximation using the newton method.

The key for success in this class is practicing. Homework problems are given in the text book and understanding these problems will surely result in an A.
This class was tough.
Course Overview:
I had Mrs. Doctor Mackey for this course. She is an extremely tough grader, but overall a very nice person just to talk to. She definitely knows her stuff, but her teaching style might not be for everyone.
Course highlights:
The thing that impressed me the most was that she actually took the effort to get to know me. She did things like learned my name, major, aspirations, etc.

Advice for students:
When you set up your groups for board work problems, make sure you pick reliable people, preferably people you regularly see outside of class. That way, you can all work together to try to solve the board work problems because those things can be very hard.
