    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a very difficult course. The instructor is very educated on the topic of chemistry but lacks the necessary ability to teach and convey that on a level that undergraduate students can understand.

    Course highlights:

I learned that I should have hired a tutor earlier on. I learned that only a small percentage of students pass with a B or better. I learned that my old ways of studying did not translate well with this course/instructor.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Hire a tutor early! Try to make appointments with the grad assistant (if he has one) to gain clarification on what is expected.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend this class unless it is required for your degree. It is very difficult and has a lot of content.

I learned many aspects of organic chemistry. I learned how to draw molecules and how to name them. Also, I learned many different reactions and mechanisms.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to pass this class, you cannot just memorize the content, you must learn it. Also, you need to study a lot.
