    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend it because it lays the foundation needed for your future courses. By having said foundation, you'll be able to understand the disease process & how medications work in the body. It ties it all together.

    Course highlights:

I became fascinated with the body after taking this course. Whatever system we were covering at the time, I was interested. I no longer look at the body just outwardly. I became a "body detective" of some sort. Nowadays I'm always inspecting the skin, looking at clues as to what's happening on the inside.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Invest in index cards. Make them your best friends. Whatever topic you have to study for, write it down on the front of an index card & its definition on the back. Always carry them around so you can peek at them from time to time. Have the plastered on your bedroom wall. Even your bathroom wall can become a study session while either brushing your teeth or sitting on the toilet....Whatever works.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it lays the foundation that is needed for your future courses. By learning the body, you'll be able to understand the disease process & how medications work.

    Course highlights:

I became so fascinated with the body. I no longer see the body as just physical and outwardly. I'm a visual person, therefore ever since taking this course, I see organs, bones, vessels....I've become some sort of body detective in a way because I'm always looking for clues & imagining the outcome of said clues.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Index cards should become your new best friends. Put a word in the front & its definition on the back. Have friends & family test you as well. Tape them on your bathroom wall so you can study while brushing your teeth or using the toilet.
