    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    The course is about safety and accident prevention and gives in depth information on theories and principles of occupational safety and health and their practical applications in workplace.Focus is placed on evaluation and control of workplace hazards.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights include historical development of occupational safety and health in America, theories of occupational safety and health, evaluation of common workplace hazards and formulation of hazards' abatement strategies, and assessment of leadership and management principles related to occupational safety and health. With professor's guide, we were able to learn the above listed in detail through discussions, unit assessment, annotated bibliography, case studies, and projects.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    students should have a study timetable and avoid procrastination. A study timetable would help you to accomplish tasks or assignment within the due dates. A mastery of APA citation is also very necessary.
