    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because in a way you get to learn why and how humans react and it makes understanding others decisions much easier. I learned to rationalize much better because of this course.

    Course highlights:

I learned that the African Americans are still dealing with the hurt of what happened to their ancestors because the way they were raised and hearing about what their family members went through was hurtful and disgusting and I understand now why it still affects america today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say just use common sense and the golden rule this course is very easy. All you have to do is ask what if that were you how would you handle that situation or what would you think. My opinion on the class is that it is very much based off of perspective and how well you can see from others point of view and understand the different forms that emotional and social changes can take on.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Sociology is a wonderful course with so many applications. Studying this course, I learned a ton about how people function while also learning a lot about myself. Knowing some aspects of sociology can make navigating a difficult and changing world much easier and gives us more understanding as to why people act the way they do.

    Course highlights:

Introduction to sociology covers the introductory items one would expect to see. We studied culture and how people approach the topic from many different angles. One area that I found to be very interesting was the area of brain development and how human interactions impact our learning and communication. I really liked that area of the course and I feel like it gave me some much needed direction as I consider what I'll do with my career.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is take the course. Regardless of your major in college, you should take this course. It will count toward your degree regardless of what you're studying and you'll really benefit from the material both professionally and personally.
