    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I went in knowing NOTHING and have come out with such a breadth of knowledge for Industrial Waste, and my own personal limits have been forever expanded.

    Course highlights:

I built an entire Wastewater treatment facility for a fictional city. I learned along this journey of "waste" so much good.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read! Then maybe read it again. For me, the course was a bit like a new language. All the math, science and regulations. It is a course that brings many skill sets to the table. You will be asked to dig deep for detailed answers. She looks for pinpoint accuracy as you are dealing with strict regulations. Stick with it, stay open to criticism, take the bad with the good. Success is yours in this class if you just stick to it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is challenging and for those who are not familiar with Environmental Management, this is a good course to take as it is at a level where experienced students can grasp the concepts.

    Course highlights:

Learning how wastewater is treated through different stages of treatment was very interesting. Anaerobic and aerobic treatment was very interesting in how these two work in conjunction with one another but are very different from each other.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to do research. The text is a good resource, but go beyond the textbook to get a better understanding of the course topic.
