    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone with an interest of entering the Occupational Safety and Health field. This class provides necessary entry-level knowledge of the safety field and helps.

    Course highlights:

I learned more aspects of the actual safety profession and the description of a safety professional. I have military experience with the Navy’s OSHA program on the day-to-day. We familiarize ourselves with the basics of work place safety, i.e. sight and hearing protection, annual and occupational medical physicals. Through this course I learned the basics of the legal aspect of the OSHA Act of 1970 and all general knowledge required by an industrial safety professional.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The best advice I can give is to review the materials provided by the professor. The textbook was great for the essentials but the professor provided current references to detail what the safety profession entails.
