Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course to understanding the details of psychology. The topics and lectures covered in this course, give you a great understanding to how the human brain works, and understanding the mental health issues that we will come in contact with as counselors.

    Course highlights:

Learning about the different mental health issues that people suffer from, and the ways that we can help people as counselors deal with these issues. Learning about dual diagnosis and how people can duffer from more than one illness, and how these illnesses relate to each other.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to do a lot of reading and studying. This is not a very simple course, unless you thoroughly read your material and spend the time needed to fully grasp the content. If you do that however, you will be successful

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

it was a great class and it truly opened up my eyes how resourceful a community can be for those who need or want mental help and it is all about connections and who you know.

    Course highlights:

I had to research my community I thought less of it and that it did not provide much but there is a lot my community does for those with mental disability, I just needed to look for it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be open-minded, you never know what will shock you.
