Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was very helpful in introducing how to begin online classes and be successful. It was very intimidating as a first course, and required a lot of time. I learned to plan a schedule which included personal time and school time and blend them together for success. It helped me develop good study skills from the start.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the Universities' online course expectations and requirements. It allowed me to explore the online course sections, and see what format I would be using in the future once my classes started. It provided helpful resources and directed me to read up on goals and how to meet the demands of a rigorous program.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

In order to be successful, participation is mandatory. I would advise using OWL to lean the proper APA formatting requirements. This is necessary for all course work for any student majoring in Psychology. Avoid website references such as Wikapedia. It is viewed as a non reliable resource when trying to support your essay theories.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course, it covers a wide variety of topics such as ethics, cultural relations, interpersonal communication and development of teamwork skills.

    Course highlights:

There was a lot of self-development in improving skills in an individual as well as learning how people interact with others. Communication skills in group efforts were also administered.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure you understand the topics in the given assignments. Of course, read through the chapters and implement your ideas that you have gathered from the reading material.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor is incredible, always encouraging and responsive. The course itself is very helpful for understanding how to communicate effectively with others and evaluate yourself. Most helpful class I have ever taken.

    Course highlights:

This class goes over team work, listening skills and so many other subjects. I learned that when communicating with someone from other cultures you should be very careful what you say and how you present yourself, something you do not see as disrespectful could be extremely rude in their culture.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do all of your reading assignments and pay attention to details.
