Dale actually cares that you learn correctly. He isn't there to hold your hand and make sure you are doing your work, but he does make you aware that the work you do should be precise. Words matter!
The most important lesson I learned is that words matter. You need to be specific. You may or may not enjoy learning about cells or biology in general, but understanding and using terms correctly is a lesson that can and should be taken to every class and beyond.

If you put time into assignments and studying the review sheets, you will be well prepared for exams. If you have any questions, Dale is always great about discussing things. Go to talk to him during office hours. He expects you to have intelligent input, but he wants you to learn and understand.
