This class was tough.
I recommend this to Sociology and non-Sociology majors. It is a great way to cover the Humanities requirement for general education courses. It is challenging but also incredibly interesting. The semester is well structured and the work load is very manageable. Even if you aren't going to be a Sociology major it offers a good way to look at the world for life.
The professor is awesome (they all are, each professor teaches an intro level) and the material is very engaging and relevant to real life. It highly pertains to current world issues and can be applied to all other classes. It's also a good gauge of whether or not you want to be a Sociology major.

Advice for students:
If you are considering taking the course, take it. You won't regret what you will gain from it. While it can be a decent amount of work, you actually get your money's worth both from the professor and the required text books.
