Pretty easy, overall.
I honestly thought ceramics would be a waste of time because it was just another arts class, but no, It's not just another art class. It taught me a lot about my own capabilities and just how good of a pot maker I am and it has influenced my career choice to something that would require me to use my own hands.
Besides the obvious cool pots and cups you get to take home, it taught me a lot about patience. I remember getting frustrated on the potters wheel because I couldn't get a piece of clay to stay up or I would mess up a bowl because I was putting a lot of force on it, until I realized that if I took things slow then would the world start to have mercy on me and not let the clay rip/tear on me and I would be able to get things done.

Advice for students:
Don't feel embarrassed if you can't get the clay to do whatever you want it to do! It takes time and practice to get better like almost everything else, but the practice is worthwhile because you get to make creations that are really cool and your imagination is the only limit you have to make whatever you desire.
