    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because Professor Gaffney is understanding and is willing to work with you.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to be more thorough in my writing and more about citing sources.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do peer review and if you have questions ask.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Very beneficial to develop critical thinking and freedom to write about different topics. Requires a fair amount of work, but Yanmei is willing to help the entire way!

    Course highlights:

Learning about a lot of different cultures, In turn challenging my worldview. Speaking g of worldview, trying to write out what my worldview and culture is was very benficial.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Spend adequate time outside of class thinking and writing. Just start writing, to get your ideas out there. Then take advantage of the writing center and Yanmei's willing mess to help outside of class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Keep up with the reading! The class is fast paced so you don't want to get behind on the reading. That being said, show up every day and put in a genuine effort and you can easily pass. Instructor is awesome and easy to talk to. Engaging class!

    Course highlights:

We read some books and stories that I never thought I would be interested in but I found myself glued to the pages. It was also very exciting to hear the perspectives that my classmates had on the stories. You really had to try to fail in order to not make it in this course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Again the most important advice is to show up to each class and to stay up to date on the reading. The are quizzes on everyone as well as short essays so you Will get behind if you don't stay caught up.
