    Course Overview:

    It was a required course however it was very helpful with learning new forms of writing, and helped with refining the writing that I already knew.

    Course highlights:

    Researching topics of choice for a few papers was very fun

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    professor really used on syllabus for assignments and due dates, so pay attention to it.

    It's an interesting, inovative class that allows that students to get involved and teaches a lot about past and present news.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot about news and made a lot of new friends in this course.

    Advice for students:

    Go for this course, the professor is a renowned Minnesota writer, he is very smart and it makes you think a lot about the news and major events.
