    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is an absolutely great class when taught by the new professor, Demelza Koehn. She is young and excited about not only the particular subject, but teaching it as well. Her excitement makes you excited too and class is always active and fun. She incorporates many activities that keep you from falling asleep and they always keep you very interested.

    Course highlights:

The highlights definitely included the activities and hands on models. I learned how DNA works, down to every molecule and enzyme. We also focused very intensely on respiration and photosynthesis. Demelza taught us in a way that allowed us to memorize and learn every component involved in these complicated processes.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it for sure. It is hard and requires a lot of work, however; all of the work that you do is meaningful and interesting. It will benefit you greatly in the end.
