Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is great for first-year students to get a smooth transition and introduction to college writing, as well as expand on all of the college writing prep they've done in high school. A wide variety of writing skills are covered, and your strengths/weaknesses will be assessed and helped!

    Course highlights:

Getting to read Their Eyes Were Watching God again, and analyze it from a completely different perspective thanks to this course. It wasn't a book review it was practical application of analysis and writing skills.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Aside from actually do the readings and write your papers: pre-write, pre-write, pre-write. Pre-writing and free-writing are going to improve the difficulty of this class immensely. Getting your thoughts out onto paper and getting past those writing blocks will help make paper writing for this class very easy.
