Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is a great way to have a feel for the human body and how the different systems work.

    Course highlights:

Learning about the blood was probably my favorite part due to me becoming an MLT. We learned about tissues and blood in the beginning and that was a good intro into the class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise them to take a lot of notes and study outside of school for tests and make sure to keep track of your assignments.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would because if you have to take any other science courses or a secondary Anatomy and Physiology course then you will have this class as background knowledge.

    Course highlights:

The labs were thorough and very educational, we learned a lot about cells and their osmotic fragility. Also we did a lot of DNA and genetics labs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, go to every single lecture you can because she will have random assignments to do in them and they will be due that day.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Jessalyn was an amazing instructor. She was so easy to follow and you could tell the passion she has for science in every one of her lectures. She made me excited to keep learning science.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about different systems of the body. We covered everything from ionic bonds to the cardiovascular system and the lymphatic system. I learned the overall makeup of the human body and how each one of the systems work together to keep us alive.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice I would give students considering this course would be to never procrastinate. Each night, I found it useful to review the material we covered in lecture that day. You are learning a lot about each of the systems and it is a lot of new infomation most of the time. Additionally, look into YouTube videos that animate the systems. I found this very helpful to visualize each part and how it works with the next.
