    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Not only does Ms. Jolly teach you about the wonderful aspects of different cultures, she also teaches you about yourself. Jolly will allow you to reflect and figure out your capabilities as well as your understanding of where you stand in life. She is an optimist and a believer. Not to mention the information is insightful.

    Course highlights:

The self-reflection paper was a big eye opener for me. Having to write about who you are as a person forces you to self reflect.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Participate and ask questions! Make the discussion worth while and fun.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Too easy, I didn't learn anything substantial throughout the entire semester. She's a foreign professor so it's hard to understand her assignments. She spends too much time talking about very particular cultures, instead of teaching the big picture.

    Course highlights:

Again, it was less than a year ago but despsite that it's still hard to remember the highlights.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would only take it if you're majoring in Anthropology or something similar. Otherwise, it lacks the challenge and interesting topics most students want.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a really fun and interesting class. Jolly is really a good teacher too, she lets you reflect your own choices and interests in relation to course material. If you do this, you'll do well in the class.

    Course highlights:

At the end of the course, you get to do a project of your choice on a social justice organization in a country of your choice. I really enjoyed this project and it made easy to complete.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just work hard and complete all of the work and relate the material to your own experiences and you will do well in the class.
