    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Because it was required for me, I personally would not recommend this course. The teaching style was very hard to follow which made the content difficult to understand.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course include hours of studying. The course is incredibly high maintenance. Some positive aspects was that the prof included demonstrations at the end of some lectures.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to tutoring and make lots of friends in this course because even though ultimately it'll be you taking that test, it'll help to talk about the concepts as much as possible with others.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry in itself is a lot of information to take in. Dr. Suits is an amazing professor, but he makes a lot of football/sports-related references. He tends to go off topic a lot which can be a bit redundant.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning the material. I am a very science-minded person, so any Chemistry class makes me eager to learn. This class was a bit different than what I am used to. I am used to PowerPoints, but Dr. Suits does not use PowerPoints, he writes the lectures as he goes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not skip lectures. They are not mandatory but they are very important and helpful. Make sure to take every opportunity there is for extra credit, it all adds up in the end!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I had to take this class multiple times. The first couple of times, I just did not spend enough time to fully understand what we were doing or learning. The final time that I took this class, with Dr. Suits, I finally passed. Yes, I had taken it a couple of times already, so I did have a slight background, but Dr. Suits actually tried to relate what we were learning to real life.

    Course highlights:

I found that very helpful. Also, make sure you do all of the homework! It helps! Use office hours and ask lots of questions!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't try to suffer on your own! Get a study group together. Ask any and all questions!
