Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Singer had excellent and widespread clinical experience in her field before even entering academia as a professor. Her real life experience and expertise added an extra level of interest and authority to her instruction.

    Course highlights:

I especially enjoyed learning about common mental disorders because Dr. Singer was extremely empathetic of those who struggle with them, but was also very reassuring of finding ways to manage them so it doesn't negative effect normal day-to-day functioning.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't miss any classes if you can help it since lectures are extremely helpful in understanding the content.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Gena Britt is an excellent professor! She makes learning the material easy and interesting but with that in mind, I would not say that she is an easy professor or that intro to psychology is an easy course. As a student, you have to be alert and active. This class, and professor, is not one that you can just sleep on and not give much attention. But, if you take the time to pay attention and learn I think, as a student, anyone would enjoy the course and benefit from having taken it.

    Course highlights:

I personally liked learning about each psychological method/fields of study. I also liked that what you learn in class can be instantly applied when you walk out of the class and into the world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention, pay attention, pay attention! Study hard as well and keep up with your readings and weekly assignments. Be prepared before each class because what you were supposed to read will come up again.
