Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course refreshed my memory of Calculus AB material and taught me new concepts from the BC curriculum. Although the AP Exam covers a lot of information, with the right preparation and review, the exam is fairly easy with the course I took.

    Course highlights:

The teacher intertwined real life examples and anecdotes with the course material, making it a fun experience in the classroom.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to understand the material from both years of calculus. This is pivotal for the AP Exam, which is comprehensive.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it offers an opportunity to challenge your mathematical skills in a conceptual way. Calculus is a very well rounded course and uses skills that are necessary to succeed in the math department

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course included the learning of new material that were relevant to an everyday society. Calculus uses tools that can be applied to your current world; it is a great aspect of the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend a continual, yet gradual, form of studying. It would be best to not cram all the information the night before an evaluation, but study over a long period of time in small increments.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course. It is the next step from AP Calculus AB and it takes you a lot further in many of the topics you explored in that course. Mr. Nicoletti is the best teacher I have ever had, and he breaks everything down to its simplest terms so that you are able to understand the concepts.

    Course highlights:

I gained a more in depth knowledge of calculus. Coming into class every day was exciting because math is an exciting topic for me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you actually understand the material. You cannot just fake it in this course. Really make sure you get it.
