    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course which is also taught in a fantastic manner. Dr. Henry Sandberg teaches history in a story-like manner, which helps his students memorize the chronological order of events. He makes his lectures interesting with his sarcastic, dark sense of humor and holds conversations with his students. He also offers interesting extra credit assignments, such as visiting a place "of cultural relevance".

    Course highlights:

I gained more appreciation for how Europe was shaped in early modern history as well as some insights into the literature, ideas, and technological developments that helped our world become what it is today. There are a lot of lessons that can be learned in history which can help us to become better citizens and to vote wisely.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just pay attention. Many of the people who struggled in his class were surfing Facebook or chatting on instant messenger during his class. I believe that doing this sort of thing is the only way that you can possibly fail his class. Take a lot of notes, reach out to your peers, and enjoy the material. Also, do not buy the textbook. He does not use it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is an amazing way to refresh your minds on western history. He connects everything he teaches with the current events without diving into politics.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights for me was watching Suffragette. Learning about the fight to basic rights during different time periods was inspirational.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Go into this class open-minded and don't be afraid to ask questions or even answer questions. Attendance is key.
