Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor was very knowledgeable of every concept reviewed in the class. He easily broke down the topics and included a little humor while doing so. Even though he did not give out a lot of homework, there was no problem retaining the information. Our class discussions were so educational and powerful, it made it easy to remember the information and succeed in the course.

    Course highlights:

Almost every class discussion could be considered a highlight. But the one thing that stuck with me, was a documentary we watched in class about the American education system. Waiting for "Superman". I learned so much about socioeconomic status and how it affects students. As well as the conflicts that arise in schools, the state, and federal level.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The course covers a lot of vital information and it can begin to get confusing. But, If you take great notes and study them regularly, the tests will be easy.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you like psychology or just learning about the world around you, you'll love this course! The class mainly consisted of lectures and written assignments, but there were occasional presentations and group work. Takiko is a wonderful teacher and has very interesting and beautiful insights, but her accent can be a little difficult to understand every once in a while.

    Course highlights:

I mainly learned how societal pressures and influence affect mine and others thoughts and behaviors. The highlights for me were the lectures because we just discussed really interesting topics and sometimes got pretty deep into human behavior and that fascinated me very much.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and take good notes!! Also, I recommend that you keep up with the course work, don't leave anything until the last minute, and try to read the textbook before class.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor was really funny, but also clearly intelligent. He didn't make sitting through lecture boring, and the assignments were fairly easy.

    Course highlights:

Learning the basics of sociology and human nature was really interesting, and it helped me look at the world with a more objective view point.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Taking notes was important, so if you take good notes you should be fine
