This subject will provide a solid grounding in database design and development. It will show the importance of database design in the development of business applications. There will be an emphasis on conceptual modeling to design a database to meet enterprise needs. The subject will also provide a study of the characteristics and requirements for decision support databases, distributed databases and data warehousing in order to better meet the needs of an enterprise.
