Mrs. Warren is a Fantastic teacher. I can promise you will leave her classroom with a great understanding in general biology.

    Course highlights:

You will learn from multicellular organism to unicellular. Different types of fungi that you see in every day life. For example, Zygomycetes, which is known as the common black bread mold. You will learn how they reproduce so rapidly through meiosis, and mitosis. It is truly a plethora of information.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study!! You will definitely not make an A in this class by just attending. I am sure there are many people who have gotten by, but if you truly are interested in learning it is a great class.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Mr. Williford gets right to the point and is very detailed. He explained the material well and it easy to comprehend.

    Course highlights:

I've never been huge on biology but by taking this course it was cool to see how things work within plants and animals. Being able to direct and locate organs and look at leaves under a microscope and differentiate on the cell type was fun to learn.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Show up to class everyday and don't miss the labs. The labs are huge and if review the material after the class meetings you will do just fine.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would strongly recommend this course, as it strengthened my abilities to reason, to formulate, and to form accurate observations in Science. I loved every part of this course because we dissected several animals to explore their anatomy and physiology, which I thoroughly enjoyed! Furthermore, our professor was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, which made our class enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about the different kingdoms in depth. Most importantly, as students we formed skills in several areas such as reasoning, observing, and dissecting. We further investigated the plant kingdoms and discovered their unique lifestyle. The most interesting part of the course was transferring our observations into valid research. Every part of Bio 104 was exciting and challenging.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would definitely advice the students to prepare themselves for hard work, as this course requires its students to put in effort and interest. In order to succeed in this class, one needs to fully pay attention and form a liking toward biological research. Moreover, this course expects its students to show their level of endurance through rigorous coursework.
