Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a very interesting course that doesn't involve too much background knowledge.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course thus far has been the discussions and topics we cover. I learned many things such as the cultural effects of 9/11.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are interested in the class topic, do it! You won't regret it and it is very well taught.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Karjanen is a luminary in his field, and teaches this course accordingly. He has a thorough understanding of U.S. forgiven policy and consequences following the attacks of 9/11, and takes great care to provide his students with the best possible experience in his classroom.

    Course highlights:

US foreign policy, intelligence failures and the Iraq War, the role of the media in American society, gender and the war on terror, and popular culture were prevailing themes throughout this course. Obviously, these themes were examined through the lens of the U.S. since 9/11.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take advantage of your time with Dr. Karjanen. Speak with him during his office hours and be sure to complete all recommended readings.
