Not too easy. Not too difficult.
I would recommend this course because it is important to have a general understanding of the biology of the world around you; it is also a great general, prerequisite class that can propel you into deeper knowledge within your major.
I learned an extreme amount in this class- a lot of information gets thrown at you. It's important to know you don't need to KNOW everything, just understand the overall concepts as well as the processes and pieces that go along with it. I learned about biology in chemistry, properties of biology, biology of the earth and populations, mitosis, meiosis, and many more. This course is very general in the way that it has a broad overview of many topics. Be prepared to have a lot of new information thrown your way!

Advice for students:
You NEED to study. Review notes, work with others to understand the information, and take quizzes seriously. There is so much information, so if you fall behind or start slacking, it is hard to get back on track. Go to class; there are in class activities that count towards your grade and the notes online are different from those in class. Go to class, work hard, and you will succeed in this class.
