    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class is just like high school algebra. I liked Terrence Stanley as a professor.

    Course highlights:

It created a deeper understanding of the real life engineering applications of algebra.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the review worksheets because the extra practice will be worthwhile for the test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The professor covers the easy aspects of the class in great detail and flies through the difficult concepts. I found it more useful to use the designated lecture time to read the book and teach myself instead of going. He gets side tracked often and goes on wild tangents about math that is beyond what the students are capable of.

    Course highlights:

I did not learn anything. I only went to the review sessions, which were very unhelpful. Once again, he went over the easy aspects for the entire class and did not cover the difficult parts that would be on the midterms.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course, with a different professor unless you are good at teaching yourself.
