    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The book is designed to prepare you for your future engineering classes, so all of the examples are engineering related to help you get in that mindset.

    Course highlights:

Although I took calculus in high school, it was definitely helpful to have taken it again at the university because I was able to learn it from a different perspective.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep track of all the example problems provided--they really do help with understanding the concepts and prepare you for the exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I had professor Ian Whitehead, he is a great human being! However, I struggled to learn anything from his lectures. He would consistently go on tangents about irrelevant things. Luckily, TAs are very helpful, and always have office hours to get students through the course!

    Course highlights:

My favorite moments of this course were discussion sections and doing the worksheets. Do not take the for granted! They are very similar to the test questions, and also very helpful for solidifying your knowledge of the material. I had never taken calculus before, and I did excellent in this class, especially for just learning derivatives and such while the rest of my classmates had previous knowledge of calculus.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You don't need prior calculus knowledge to do well in this course! Everything is taught well, and there are always resources there to help you out.
