    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is interesting if you like math. The lectures were more proof based and the discussion sections more example based. I think less time spent on proofs and more on examples would be better.

    Course highlights:

From this course I learned how to do different multi variable derivatives and integrals. That's pretty much what the whole class is about. I would say more time is spent on integrals then derivatives.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a lot for tests. Use the review in the back of chapters and go over homework

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course is required for most math and engineering majors, so most of the time students do not have a choice whether to take it or not. I really enjoyed the material, but the professor that I had was very confusing and boring to listen to. I would not recommend taking the course with Robert Gulliver.

    Course highlights:

The course teaches the basics of multivariable calculus, focusing on multiple integrals and partial derivatives. The course spends a lot of time learning exceptions and different theorems that are said to make multiple integrals easier. The difficult part is determining when to use what theorem.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend doing all of the assigned problems even though only 5 or 6 are collected for grading.
