This class was tough.
I took this class as a College in the Schools class at my high school. Magistra Sassenberg was a tough teacher, but she knows the material very well. The course work was challenging, but reasonable. She also teaches real-world lessons along with the Latin that you learn.
We took a trip up to the University of Minnesota campus and attended two lectures. One of them covered linguistic history and the other covered the Roman election process. Both professors who gave them were excellent speakers and well versed in the topics. I learned a lot more about Rome than I thought I would, and of course I learned how to read Latin more fluently.

Advice for students:
Don't get behind on homework, and make sure that you do the optional/suggested homework. Practice is the only way to get better at a language, so keep yourself honest and do as much as you can.
