    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Gewirtz is a lovely professor that is knowledgeable about what he is teaching. He also takes on undergraduate researchers for those that are Psychology majors needing or wanting to complete research.

    Course highlights:

You gain a better perspective of WHY things are happening in your brain. An abnormal Psychology course will tell you the criteria for being classified with a certain disorder according to the DSM, but this course goes more into what is happening biologically.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook. It's not dense like normal textbooks. It's easy to follow because though there is a lot of material and much of it is memorization, the point is not to trick or confuse the student. Ask questions. Make yourself known to the professor.
