    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend a different professor if possible. Marshak is a solid guy, but his teaching skills don't help you very much. He is a funny professor, but I didn't learn very much from his lectures.

    Course highlights:

Marshak made the lectures enjoyable despite the fact that we didn't learn much. You have to use online resources and friends if you want to succeed in this class. The textbook is average, but nothing spectacular and it doesn't coincide with what is on the tests.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Find a good group of people to study and get through the course with. Later on the homework gets very hard, so collaborating is a must if you want to do well. Also don't stress to hard about a bad test score. Most of the people in the class do poorly on at least one test if not more. You will be fine and it's not the end of the world if you get a B or C in your first semester.
