Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took it for a lab req. Easiest lab ever, and Armstrong is great.

    Course highlights:

The only difficult stuff was learning about genetics. Other than that you just learn about primate behaviors and early hominins.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You don't really have to read the book, but it really helps to go to class everyday. Armstrong is a cool guy to listen to as well if you have him.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He was a very passionate professor, and brought fun into the lecture hall. He made me excited that I had chosen this as my major.

    Course highlights:

We learned about the different members of the hominids, the different homo and australopith species, and many of the key features that make us human.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students not to take the class lightly. Sure, its a fun course, but the workload is tough. Do your readings, and actually study for the tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is one of the easiest and most interesting science classes I have ever taken. If you like learning about people, this is the class for you! It is not too hard to pass if you just do the work!

    Course highlights:

Learning about human evolution is more interesting than I was expecting. It is nice to know where we, as humans, come from. Knowing this information makes it easier to understand humans.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Just show up to class and pay attention. Most of the grade comes from the labs and the in-class assignments. Enjoy the class, because it won't be fun if you don't know what is going on.
