    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the instructor is very logical in his approach and teaches everything in a timely manner. The subject matter is fun to learn (coming from a science major) and understanding how the world works is interesting.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the way in which the elements interact with each other and their surroundings; and in turn this helped me to better understand the world. Fun to take—if science major.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard, do not get behind. Would only take if in major. I took it for a major, but then I changed my major and so my semester was technically a wash with wasted credits. Although, learning is never a bad thing and I appreciated the knowledge.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class seemed fast paced and almost hard to keep up with. I never once used the book, and it didn't make much sense when I tried to. The class work wasn't terrible and the homework was "try it until you get it" so you shouldn't get less than 100% in that category. The exams were much harder than the homework or classwork and very hard to study for since no practices were given.

    Course highlights:

This class mostly just taught me more in depth about the contents I was already familiar with from high school, but was still difficult in some areas.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't avoid office hours or the tutoring center! If there's something you don't get, ask!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would because it is very a fun class. He does a good job at explaining the material and being direct with what was expected. He enjoys getting to know the students and helping them learn when he can.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of basic knowledge about the foundation of chemistry. The highlights would have been the jokes in class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

To be successful in this class read over the notes taken in class, ask questions when you are unsure and practice the types of questions in class.
