    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Stackpool is a teacher who really cares about your education if you make the time to go and meet with her.

    Course highlights:

I believe I walked out of this course knowing that I have a better understanding of Chemistry. I do hope that this knowledge will help take me a long way in my college career.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be on time to class, keep up with your notes and readings, and always ask for help if something is not easy to understand. Stay positive, you will make it!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the instructor is very logical in his approach and teaches everything in a timely manner. The subject matter is fun to learn (coming from a science major) and understanding how the world works is interesting.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the way in which the elements interact with each other and their surroundings; and in turn this helped me to better understand the world. Fun to take—if science major.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study hard, do not get behind. Would only take if in major. I took it for a major, but then I changed my major and so my semester was technically a wash with wasted credits. Although, learning is never a bad thing and I appreciated the knowledge.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class seemed fast paced and almost hard to keep up with. I never once used the book, and it didn't make much sense when I tried to. The class work wasn't terrible and the homework was "try it until you get it" so you shouldn't get less than 100% in that category. The exams were much harder than the homework or classwork and very hard to study for since no practices were given.

    Course highlights:

This class mostly just taught me more in depth about the contents I was already familiar with from high school, but was still difficult in some areas.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't avoid office hours or the tutoring center! If there's something you don't get, ask!
