Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course changed me as a person. It taught me how to properly take a look at the world and view it with critical mind. Things are not always as they seem, and everything has deep, hidden meaning.

    Course highlights:

We had to do a Multi-genre Research Project in which we researched a topic of our choice and then presented the information in different forms of writing other than a research paper. I learned how to take my writing skill to the next level by challenging myself to write differently than I typically do.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always keep an open-mind when taking an English class. Often times, non-English students immediately disregard English classes and only do the amount of work needed to get by. With an open mind, English 101 can teach students how to think deeply and improve reasoning skills. Most importantly, English 101 teaches students the basics of writing that they will use throughout their lives.
