    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    This course introduces students to the concepts underlying effective operation and control of manufacturing and service businesses. Approaches to production control, inventory policy, facilities planning, methods improvement and technological assessment are studied.

    Course highlights:

    Upon successful completion of this course, the student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to: 1. Identify and articulate how operations management contributes to the achievement of an organization’s strategic objectives. 2. Critically evaluate the operations function in manufacturing and service production settings. 3. Appraise and apply forecasting methods as the basis of management’s planning and control activity. 4. Assess and formulate decision making strategies to address operating issues that have short, intermediate or long lead times. 5. Evaluate approaches to problem solving and process improvement in production settings. 6. Synthesize the depth and breadth of knowledge, knowledge of methodologies, application of knowledge, and communication skills according to the degree level competencies established by authorizing bodies for degree programs in Ontario

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    ests/examinations/assignments must be written/submitted at the time specified. Requests for adjustments to that schedule must be made before the test/exam/assignment date to the faculty member. Failure to do so will result in a mark of “0”, unless an illness/emergency can be proven with appropriate documentation at no cost to the College. To graduate from degree programs, a student must attain a minimum of 60%, or a letter grade of P (Pass) or S (Satisfactory) in each course in each semester, and have an overall average of 65% in the program. Additionally, students in the Honours BScN program must maintain an overall cumulative average of 65% with no Nursing course having a grade less than 60%. The passing grade for all other courses is 50%. Tests 40% Assignments/Cases 30% Exam 30%

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Because actually i am registered on public administration in Huazhong universitu of science and tevhnology, i want complete my ph-d on public administration.

    Course highlights:

    To know improve the public management sector by getting two Ph-D on this field.
