Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is the most important course in a medical career. Without the knowledge of the medical terms, one can not tell what anatomy the person is talking about. One medical terminology is mastered, we can tell what part of the body we are speaking of. For example-Myopathy- medical terminology will teach you that Myo means muscle and that pathy means disease. so we know that myopathy is a disease of the muscles. Arthritis- we know that arthr-is joins. We know that itis is inflammation so Arthritis is inflammation of the joints. This course will teach you what part of the body you are speaking of and how to define a part of anatomy by the words used.

    Course highlights:

It was like learning a new language. It was awesome to be able to break down a word and know what part of the body was being spoke of.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Absorb this course and learn the terminology words. Flash cards are the easiest way t learn the new terms. Word association helps me.
