Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is truly a fun class. Mary is very energetic, even in the morning, and that is what kept me going to class. She would try to engage everyone in discussions or material in class.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the discussions. When we talked in class, it was about what we had just read. We learned about sexuality, racism, setting and many more topics that affected literature.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Always do the reading. There are a couple more stories to read for every class; it is easy to get behind. Personally, I was swamped a lot with reading because I forgot and didn't do it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course taught me to dive deeper into a piece of literature to analyze all of its components. although hard, I recommend this class to those who want a better understanding of gender, sexuality and race in literature.

    Course highlights:

The highlights are the discussions. Everyones opinions are welcomed and encouraged. In this class, there is no wrong answer, which she points out many times. No wrong answer, just a different opinion than others sometimes.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise anyone who is thinking about this course to keep up on the reading. Normally, there is a reading assignment every week. Also, take notes! I got to use them on quizzes normally.
