Not too easy. Not too difficult.
The combination of laboratory work and classroom lecture, and availability of instructors made this course a pleasure. Instructors were good at showing how the material we learned in lecture applied to the lab.
Fundamentals of microbiology and the application to the real world were discussed. Laboratory experiences reinforced what was learned in the classroom. Professors were available and approachable and taught in a manner easy to understand, even for students without a heavy scientific background.

Advice for students:
Don't skip out on the lectures! The instructors rely much more heavily on classroom information than textbook information. Make sure you do the readings, and don't slack. This course is very technical and it is easy to get behind.
