    Course Overview:

    English 12 H and AP Lang have the exact same amount of work, however the things you learn in AP Lang will help you all throughout college.

    Course highlights:

    I've learned the art of writing quality essays and have gained many skills that will carry me through college! This course has taught me how to survive college and possibly graduate school.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do not procrastinate! This course is so useful and so important, procrastinating will only lead you to a bad grade and a stressful life!

    Course Overview:

    This course us very helpful, it's a whole year of intense writing. I think this course is great preparation for college writing especially if you are with mr. Cotton he's absolutely fantastic he will always do everything in his power to make you a stronger writer.

    Course highlights:

    You become a stronger writer. This course teaches you how to pose an argument and how to prove it with gathered evidence and a strong thesis statements

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be open to new suggestions, you will have writing conferences with different teachers so be ready for their input. Always set an achievable goal, if you got a 4 on a paper strive for a 5 on the rewrite and on the next timed write you take. Finally, take everything Mr. Cotton has taught in your bootcamp into consideration it will be very helpful for the future

    Course Overview:

    I loved learning so much from Mr.Cotton. He was super knowledgable

    Course highlights:

    I loved taking so many notes and learning about the different elements of English in detail. It was such a fun class and yes, it was a lot of work, but I got a lot out of it.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    I would recommend studying in groups and getting the work done with friends!
