Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it. The class is fun; we learn new things instead of going over the same things as a normal English class does. We study parts of literature, rather than grammar. The class is a little difficult considering the professor is French and has a thick accent.

    Course highlights:

So far, we have studied parts of literature in depth, such as theme, setting, plot, etc. We are studying things other than the boring definitions found in a textbook. Instead, we look more into a setting as what impact it has on the story and how it influences the character's choices. It is much more interesting than any English class I have previously taken.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the homework the night it is assigned. Don't wait until the morning of, as this teacher typically wants vocabulary in depth and will ask you about your responses. There is no room for cheating as she typically will ask the students individually for their answers.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor VanCuren makes learning fun and has a passion to teach. She wants you to succeed in her class and in life. If you work for it, you will do well in her class. I would highly recommend this course.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the stories we were expected to read in this class. I became a better pop quiz taker. Lastly, I learned how to write several types of papers that I had never written before.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to turn all assignments in on time and read for your pop quizzes! Professor VanCuren is incredible nice but does not take late work.
