    The professor was incredibly understanding and responded to questions clearly and promptly.

    Course highlights:

    The class discussions were enriching. Would definitely take this class again because it expanded my way of thinking by 100.

    Advice for students:

    Don't refrain from taking this class just because there is a speech required. It's extremely beneficial for anyone's future to have public speaking skills.

    Communication is a great class to take. The fundamentals of word meaning is made clear and concise in this class.

    Course highlights:

    I learned how to use certain words to make a point. And that some words have different meanings.

    Course Overview:

    Dr. Montjar is an amazing professor at Grand Canyon University. She truly cares about her students and engages daily in the most personal, yet professional way. Her expertise in Communications is reflected in the lectures she provides. I will miss being in this course!

    Course highlights:

    Throughout this course, I have learned different component of communication skills. One of my favorite parts of this course was relational communication theories. The course material provided in this course was extremely beneficial and was relevant to today's active communication.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    Study! Do not wait until the last minute to complete assignments or you will no be successful. It is important that you ready the course material and engage in discussion questions. The DQ questions that are given always have key information that is useful in future assignments. Take advantage of them!
