    Course Overview:

    After this course, I had a better understanding if what it means to be a doctoral student. It prepared me to start thinking like a scholar.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course was the understanding of synthesis of articles.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Be prepared have a paper and pen to take notes. Do not procrastinate.

    Great introduction course to learn of the expectations and what will make one successful.

    Course highlights:

    Use of online tools, how to post and participate in forums.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Take one week at a time, use a calendar and alarms for reminders of posts and due dates.

    Course Overview:

    I'd recommend this course if one is serious about academe. It changes how one assimilates and synthesizes data, and how one incorporates individuals into his or her world milieau.

    Course highlights:

    Deep introspection into self resulting in a better me. Most importantly, I learned how to synthesize volumes of data in a short period of time and retain the information for future use. Also learned was the right way to paraphrase as to not plagiarize.

    Keep an open mind and you will become a doctoral learner.
