    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a tough course but you learn a lot of material that is useful in the real world. Plus helps you understand why it is important in the medical field.

    Course highlights:

How to convert measurements, Lewis structures, and solving real life situations.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the lecture notes, practice the math problems, do the homework/ understand the problem and go to the tutor sessions offered.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mealman makes this class very understandable and very professional, even at a 7 am course. I learned a lot more about chemistry from her than I did in high school.

    Course highlights:

The quizzes were basically the same as the exams, just in different numbers and scenarios, which is super helpful.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell other students take notes from powerpoints, rarely read the book because the powerpoints are exactly from the books. DO THE WORKSHEETS.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I have struggled in high school with Chemistry, but taking this class with professor Mealman has made a major difference. Her teaching skills have helped me understand chemistry is a different way, that I actually enjoy leaning in the class.

    Course highlights:

My favorite was learning about the periodic table, I thought ithat was interesting to know what different chemicals do and how they react with other chemicals. It was also interesting to find out what chemicals are in our daily items we use.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The students definitely need to attend class, because if you don't it is hard to teach yourself the material.
