    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is part of the MBA program and having done Statistics and Economics in the distant past, I was terrified to tackle it again. Although it was a challenging class it was an eye opener to understanding how the numbers play into many things in our business and personal life. I would highly recommend setting aside a fair amount of study time for this class it is definitely overwhelming at times, just do to the volume of information.

    Course highlights:

My biggest insight in this class was how easily numbers can be manipulated by others when taken out of context or full information is not revealed. I am still not a fan of the discipline but have earned a lot of respect for those who can fully understand it. I know it will come in handy when I am finally using the theory in my job.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Work at it a little every day then it won't be so overwhelming, and as the saying goes "don't sweat the small stuff". If you can get the laminated quick study guides they helped tremendously.
