    | No strong feelings either way.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The course was a simple analysis of sociology in society. Most topics were fairly easy to discuss and the exams were half common sense, and half book related material.

    Course highlights:

The projects in this class were the highlight. I learned a great deal about affirmative action and perceived racism in the infrastructure of the country.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid to say what you think. It makes the participation points easier to get if people have different opinions.

    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course encourages open dialogue about the various social problems that plague American society. It is very useful for my field of study in Social Work. I have gained a clear understanding of the many social problems that may affect the way my future clients interact and navigate the world around them. It is also equpping me with knowing of various ethnic and cultural norms that may affect my future clients behaviors.

    Course highlights:

I learned that the many social problems that plague America currently are the results of either learned social norms or the resistance of learned social norms.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Please be prepared to demonstrate your knowledge of weekly topics by writing 750 - 1250 word essay with proper citation. Please do not be alarmed by the essay assignments as you find that writing process will help you to fully understand the specific topics as well as retain much of the new information that you have learned during the course of each particular week.
