Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Informational about the positives of technology in the classroom. When I first thought of technology for the classroom, my first instinct was all the potential negatives of students abusing it, but this class taught of the resourcefulness of using technology to advance teaching.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the positive uses of technology to aid in teaching. I learned how to build a website that my future students could utilize for assignments and tools to help them learn. I also discovered other sites that made using technology and creating lesson plans more fun and interactive.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Manage your time. If you put in the work you can gain a lot out of the course. It makes you think of how you can utilize technology while teaching. It does force you to be creative so be prepared to actually do the assignments.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

While the material in this course isn't particularly difficult it will consume a lot of your time. There is a plethora of required reading and the web-based discussion responses all have multiple parts. There is one assignment each week. This assignment is usually a capstone that is supposed to tie together everything you read about in that week's chapter. These assignments involve heavy amounts of writing and can range from five to eight pages. Make sure to allow yourself more time than you usually would for an online course.

    Course highlights:

If you live in Arizona, you will learn a great deal about the standards their dept. of education has for integrating technology in the classroom. If you don't you won't gain as much but will still learn strategies for using technology in the most effective way.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    1. Do ALL the readings. 2. Take specific notes. 3. Cite EVERYTHING
